These impressive facts and the continuous investment program implemented by the company, includes the construction for a new power station in the Netherlands that was awarded to Mitsubishi Heavy Industry Corporation, a Japanese well known EPC contractor (Engineering Procurement and Contracting) for the execution of a new power plant in Eemshaven, in the province of Groningen, that has been chosen as the site for the so called "Nuon Magnum" rating 1,300 MW and serving more than 2 millions household and over 1 billion Euros value. Nuon Magnum is based on the so-called multi-fuel concept. This is an efficient electricity plant based on a wide range of fuels such as natural gas, coal and biomass. Important is the use of gasification technology. With the multi-fuel concept, Nuon offers the best solution for generating as clean as possible electricity flexibly and efficiently. Another advantage of this concept is the large-scale production capacity. In the project, general contractor Mitsubishi will work together with a large number of subcontractors, including BONO ENERGIA for the auxiliary boilers' house.
BONO ENERGIA has a long record of projects executed with Mitsubishi in the area of the auxiliary boilers houses and with more than 50 units installed all over the world and preferred vendor for Mitsubishi for this type of scope. The experience gained with Vattenfall, EDF, Foster Wheeler, Technip, Enel and A2A are witnessing the worldwide leadership of BONO ENERGIA in the auxiliary boiler houses construction in the power generation sector. For Nuon Magnum project BONO ENERGIA shall supply a station where two boilers rating 40 t/h capacity at 300°C superheated steam are supplied together with deareators, pumps, stacks and all the supplementary equipment needed for the auxiliary power station. The complete engineering and construction of the equipment, including piping supports, cables and all the details of the project are carefully executed according to the most stringent standards defined in the project.
Once again Mitsubishi selected BONO ENERGIA as a key supplier for auxiliary boiler house: the part of the plant that will "turn the key on" of Nuon Magnum project.
